More Changing Places toilets spotted!
March 13 2007
More public Changing Places toilets, which provide a changing bench, hoist and plenty of space, have been spotted and added to our Changing Places toilet map (create link to http://www.changing-places.org/map.asp )
The Changing Places map is the only place where you can find information about all the public venues which provide a Changing Places toilet in the UK, including details of the facilities provided, opening times and how the toilet can be accessed.
The Changing Places toilets recently added to the map include 3 Changing Places toilets in Thurrock, Essex, situated in locality bases provided by Thurrock Council –these are buildings from where disabled people can receive support to enjoy a range of ordinary community activities. The Changing Places toilets are open daily from 9am - 4pm and anyone in the area who needs to use them is welcome.
Another addition to the map is a Changing Places toilet at Bowling Pool in Bradford – this is Bradford’s fourth Changing Places toilet up on the map.
Don’t forget to keep your eye on the map as we update it regularly. If you spot a Changing Places toilet which is not on the map please let us know by visiting our map pages: http://www.changing-places.org/where_tellus.asp
