A New map showing Future Changing Places toilets

We have created a ‘Future Changing Places’ map to show where there are definite plans for Changing Places toilets to be installed.

We hope that both the map of existing Changing Places toilets and the new map of future Changing Places toilets will encourage other businesses and local authorities to start putting Changing Places toilets into their plans for new buildings and refurbishments. It can be done!

There are currently 10 venues on the Future Changing Places map. These include shopping centres, leisure centres, a hospital treatment centre, a Changing Places toilet in Blackpool on the seafront, and one at the Tate Modern - a popular arts venue in London. Some will be opening later this year, others won’t be opening until 2010. We are delighted that plans are in place to start opening more facilities across the country.

For a Changing Places toilet to go on the future map we need to know what type of venue it will be in, the full address of the venue and the date the Changing Places toilet will be opening. We also need to have permission from someone at the venue for it to go on the map. Please let us know about any future Changing Places toilets you hear about.
