Tate Modern opens new Changing Places toilet
07 November 2007
The Tate Modern has become the first national gallery and one of the first venues in London to open a Changing Places toilet.
Located in the heart of the capital, the Tate Modern is an ideal spot for a Changing Places toilet. Not only can the gallery be enjoyed by its visitors, but its proximity to other major tourist attractions means visitors can make use of the Changing Places toilet to enjoy a full day out.
Marcus Dickey Horley, Curator of Access Projects at the Tate says:
"We are proud and delighted to announce that we have opened a Changing Places toilet at the Tate Modern. We are pleased to be leading the way in making arts facilities accessible for disabled people, and hope that many more families will now be able to visit us".
