PAMIS is currently updating the Changing Places Toilet PracticalGuide, a valuable resource designed to support the inclusive design andeffective management of Changing Places Toilets (CPTs). The revised guide willoffer practical advice for planners, designers, and facility managers, whilealso deepening understanding of the vital role these facilities play insupporting people with complex care needs.

 

The guide will cover both technical considerations, real-world insights,and evidence-based practice, aiming to ensure that CPTs are not only compliantbut genuinely accessible, functional, and dignified for all users.

 

As part of the update process, PAMIS welcomes feedback from CPT usersand their families. Experiences—whether positive or highlighting challenges—areinvaluable in shaping a guide that reflects real needs and lived experiences.
