PAMIS is delighted to celebrate the installation of a new Changing Places Toilet (CPT) at Blenheim Palace, a world-renowned heritage landmark and a destination welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
The addition of this facility marks an important step in making the historic Palace and its extensive grounds more accessible, ensuring that visitors with complex needs and their families can enjoy all that the Estate has to offer.
Heather Carter, Managing Director– Visitor Attraction, said:
“We are proud to be opening our Changing Places facility at Blenheim Palace, an important step in ensuring that more people can access and enjoy this World Heritage Site with dignity and comfort. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to improving accessibility across the Estate and to working with partners to remove barriers that can prevent visitors with complex needs from experiencing our shared heritage.”
Jenny Miller, CEO of PAMIS, added:
“We are delighted to see Blenheim Palace take this important step towards greater accessibility. The installation of a Changing Places Toilet will make a meaningful difference for people with complex needs and their families, opening up the opportunity to visit and enjoy such a significant and historic landmark together. This is exactly the kind of progress we want to see across the UK’s cultural and heritage spaces.”
This new facility forms part of Blenheim Palace’s wider commitment to improving accessibility across the Estate and creating a more inclusive visitor experience for all.
