The People’s Choice Changing Places Award – Winner Announced!
We are delighted to announce the winner of the People’s Choice Changing Places Award 2015 is…........ Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool.

With comments such as “Fabulous facilities and wonderful staff” and “It is not just a plain room it has colourful walls and decoration for children to enjoy while they are being changed”, Sandcastle Waterpark truly deserve this award.

Glasgow Central train station, another Aveso installation, was registered last month and Aveso have blogged about it here

Aveso have also installed Changing Places at four Welcome Break motorway service stations adding Gordano in Bristol to the number this month. There are more Welcome Break Changing Places planned for this year.

We registered the London Aquatics Centre Changing Places at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford this month and Attingham Park in  Shrewsbury thanks to the Foden family, Aveso and all at the National Trust.

We attended the launch of “Parallel London” at the London Aquatics Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
On Sunday 4 September 2016, London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will play host to the world’s first fully accessible and inclusive mass participation run for everyone of all abilities.

Our wonderful Changing Places campaigners across the UK have been making sure that there are new Changing Places being registered and on the horizon. Campaigner Maria Cook has secured funding for a new Changing Places facility at County Mall in Crawley. The money comes from West Sussex County Council's Members' Big Society Fund which has been set aside to support social projects.

Sarah Mitchell continues her great work on the Changing Places facebook page as campaigners continue to promote successes and challenge venues that do not have Changing Places on social media.

We registered 10 Changing Places facilities this month and there are now 816 Changing Places toilets listed on the new map.
